Work Permits

Please follow the steps below to obtain a work permit

  1. Obtain a work permit application from your high school registrar** (or download it here).
  2. Fill out the personal information at the top of the application, get your prospective employer to fill out the information required in the middle portion, and have a parent or guardian sign the bottom portion of the application.
  3. Return the completed work permit application to your high school where the work permit will be processed and typed. Your school will need 48 hours to process the Work Permit.
  4. Bring the typed work permit back to the prospective employer.

**When school is not in session, work permits are processed in Student Services at the District Office (7165 Burton Avenue, Building J). Please make sure to have your application completed with all proper signatures and information before coming in. We will also need to see a valid form of photo ID in order to process your permit. The Student Services Office will be open on Monday through Friday  from 7:30 am to 4:00pm. Please wear a mask when in the office. If you have any questions, please contact Rina Fabros, Student Services Secretary, (Rina_Fabros@crpusd.org).
